RacquetLink Player Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the RacquetLink app to find and book courts, with an account or as a guest. Using the app means you accept them.

1.1 RacquetLink connects players with independent court venues. Each venue is run by its own owner. The venue, not RacquetLink, provides the court and is responsible for its condition, its staff and its house rules.

1.2 Venues listed in the app have been verified in person by RacquetLink before approval.

2. Accounts and guest bookings

2.1 With an account, you give your full name and mobile number. You are responsible for keeping your login secure.

2.2 As a guest, you give your name and mobile number, and optionally an email address. Your receipt and booking reference code appear on the confirmation screen. Save them. To change or cancel a guest booking, contact the venue with your reference code.

2.3 You agree to give accurate details. A venue may refuse entry if it cannot match you to the booking.

3. Booking and payment

3.1 Bookings are confirmed instantly once payment succeeds. While you pay, your slot is held for 15 minutes. If payment does not complete in time, the hold is released and someone else may book the slot.

3.2 Online payment is by GCash, Maya or credit/debit card. Depending on the venue, you pay in full online, or pay a downpayment online and the balance at the venue.

3.3 The price you see is the price you pay online. RacquetLink adds no fees.

3.4 You may book several courts or time blocks at one venue in a single checkout. If you already have a booking that overlaps the new one, the app warns you but does not stop you.

3.5 Your receipt acknowledges your payment. It is not a BIR Official Receipt. Ask the venue for one if you need it.

4. Cancellations, refunds and changes

4.1 Each venue sets its own cancellation and refund policy. You will see it before you pay. Unless the venue states otherwise, bookings are non-refundable. Your booking keeps the policy shown when you booked.

4.2 If a venue's policy allows refunds, eligible refunds go back to your original payment method. A downpayment may be non-refundable if the venue says so.

4.3 Players cannot reschedule in the app. Contact the venue, which may move your booking to another time or court if one is free. Any price difference is settled at the venue.

4.4 If a venue is suspended by RacquetLink, every future online booking is cancelled and fully refunded.

4.5 If you do not show up, the venue may record a no-show. There is no penalty, but your payment follows the venue's policy.

5. Your conduct

5.1 Follow each venue's house rules. Do not make bookings you don't intend to use, misuse the messaging feature, harass venue staff or other users, or attempt to interfere with the app.

5.2 RacquetLink may suspend accounts that break these terms.

6. Messaging and notifications

6.1 Registered players can message venues. Venue owners and their staff can read and reply. Guests cannot use messaging.

6.2 We send booking confirmations, cancellations and reminders in the app, by push notification and by email.

7. Liability

7.1 Playing sport carries risk of injury. Venues are responsible for their premises. To the extent the law allows, RacquetLink is not liable for injury, loss or damage at a venue. For any claim connected with a booking, RacquetLink's liability is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

8. Deleting your account

8.1 You can delete your account at any time in the app. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

9. Changes and governing law

9.1 We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.

9.2 These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Consumer Act (RA 7394).
